For The Atavist Magazine, I fact-checked a long-read profile of Layan Albaz, a teenager whose legs were amputated after an Israeli airstrike hit her home in Gaza, taking half of her family with her. To walk again, she came to the U.S. for treatment, 6,000 miles away from everything she knew.  

I independently fact-checked a 400+ page book from the award–winning journalist behind the powerful Netflix true-crime series Unbelievable, Joe Sexton. The Lost Sons of Omaha is a searing, no-holds-barred account of two linked and tragic deaths stemming from the 2020 George Floyd protests that explores the complex political and racial mistrust and division of today’s America. Since the fall of 2022, I have been an on-call fact-checker for Foreign Affairs magazine, which is published by the Council on Foreign Relations. I have tackled pieces written by world leaders and experts on international affairs discussing Chinese foreign relations, war, book reviews, political philosophy, and more.

In the spring of 2020, Rochester, New York, was poised for genuine police reform. Then came a 911 call for a Black man in crisis.

I independently fact-checked and provided research and production assistance to this special edition story, produced in partnership with The Trace, a nonprofit newsroom covering guns and violence in America, and The Sunday Long Read.
